Merida heard the noise, she knew the snarl, that was certainly her mother. A very loud and nervous chuckle erupted from the redhead’s throat as she hunched back a little and made her way to the wall; “Nice tae see ye again mum, it it was’nae me. {Thistime.} Wasn’t. No… bye.”
The princess heard her mother’s voice and instantly her body went rigid.
She stopped mid-step, foot hovering above the ground as her face scrunched up in disdain. Bloody Hell, her mother spotted her – which wasn’t that hard to understand – not with this trademark mop of red curls bouncing around everywhere.
“Ha—- mum!” Merida called out as she began to twist around, nervously at the start, to a bounce as she landed, arms behind her back, hands clasped together. “Thereee ye are.” The redhead chuckled as she acted completely innocent. She edged closer, but kept her distance, she didn’t need her mother dragging her to the lesson room by the ear… again.
The archer raised her ginger brows, feigning laughter and innocence, “Ah came lookin’ fer you.”
Cautiously she moved closer, hands dislodging and her arms swinging in their usual proud way. She had got away with, come on Mummy, tell her she got away with it. Grinning Merida leaned a little closer to her mother, tilting her head and giving a small probably unappreciated giggle, “So—- the lesson?”
This girl. She gets this from her father, I just know it. ❝ A Princess must notfib. ❞ The tone in her voice only grew with displeasure. The Queen was her mother, she knew perfectly well when she lied. Ignoring fact, she over heard the child & her husband talking.
❝ Now, now hurry up & get the room. If yer lucky, I might even allow the lesson to finish much later. ❞
The brunette always knew, how to get under her daughter’s skin. Accidentally of course. The queen is to have a wee little talk with The King later.
Turning away from the younger female, her hand gracefully lifted in the air.
Merida was sauntering through the castle, naturally evading her next lesson with her mother. She had decided against the lesson on the history of the Kingdom and wanted to, rather happily, attend a lesson of falconry with her father instead.
Turning the corner it wasn’t long before she noticed that her mother was there {most likely looking for her, Queen Elinor never forgot their lessons}
{Nope.}
And so she turned around and began to saunter back the way she came.
Late again. The Queen was used to this type of behavior from herown daughter. So what did the queen do? She decided to look for the eldest child.
The pitter patter of feet, caught the Queen’s ears. She knew those clumsy like footsteps anyway. Turning herself to face the door the sight of ginger haired girl, passing by in such a disgraceful manner.
The groan the escaped the ladies mouth, was just from pure annoyance.
❝ Merida! ❞ Her voice was filled with, irritation with her daughters lack of sense. Although the Queen spoke loudly, loud enough for her daughter to hear at least.
Hey, I’m just randomly making icons here. But if you’d like a starter please like this, & ignore me being out of character for a little bit. I just need to see how I am going to play the Queenie,
